Holiday Treat Containers Class #1

Thanks for joining my Holiday Treat Containers class! Each Saturday in September, I will share a simple container that can be used to gift treats, trinkets and other items.

Today's class is the classic sour cream container!  If you've been around a while, you may have seen this before.  I'm going to add a few twists to offer other ideas to add to them. I love making these because you can make lots of them in practically no time at all and you need only a few supplies.

Directions

    1.  Cut your DSP  4 x 6.

   2.  Adhere to sides using tear and tape to create a tube.

   3.  At the bottom of the tube, pinch flat to close the tube.

    4. Open and adhere inside with tear and tape to close.

   5. Place treat or trinket into the container.

   6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to close the top of the container.

Sample #1 Plain and Simple

Sample #2 Add Ribbons and a Tag

Sample #3 Add a Crimped edge

Sample #3 Hang them!

Sample #4 Make different sizes...any size rectangle will work!

Thanks for joining my class this week! I hope you will try these cute little containers! They can hold treats, jewelry, cash and other small sized items!

Mark your calendar to join me again next week.  We will make a treat sleeve for cookies and candy bars.
