Candy Corn Week Day 5

Thank you for stopping by for Day 5 of Candy Corn Week! Do you know how many fat grams are in a serving of candy corn?

Please note that none of the memes I will be sharing this week were created by me. I found them online and will give credit to the creator when possible!

Candy Corn Fun Fact #5

  • Candy corn is fat free.

I've created two cards for today.  Both use the Fright Night bundle.  On the first card, I created an A2 Daffodil Delight card base, then cut two more panels, one in Basic Black card stock and the other in Daffodil Delight card stock. Each is a quarter inch smaller on the sides but 5.25 inches tall.  I cut a frame from the small yellow panel using the large Fright Night frame die and embossed it with the Gathering Leaves embossing folder.

I stamped the Fright Night large image on Basic White card stock and cut it out with the smaller of the two frames in the die set.

I stamped and embossed images from the Party Celebrations stamp set using the technique described on my blog from Day 1 of Candy Corn Week. I fussy cut the images out and adhered them to the card with dimensionals.

For card two, I used daubers to ink up the stamp using Black Memento ink, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks.  I used the retired Distressed Tiles embossing folder and swiped a bit of Craft White ink across the raised portions of the image in the top right and bottom left corners. I added a piece of Timid Tiger faux linen ribbon and a few flat pearls to finish off the card.

Of the two cards I've shared today, do you have a favorite? If so, I'd love to hear which is your favorite! Thanks for stopping by and I hope see you again tomorrow!

I will be posting cards and treats inspired by candy corn and I'm inviting you to play along with me!  So get out the yellow, orange and white inks and paper!  I know you will want to create some tasty treat inspired projects too!

I will share candy corn memes, cards, tags and treat containers along with step by step directions on my blog so you can recreate them. I hope you will join in the fun by visiting my sites, leaving comments and even joining in by sharing your cards, treats and tags.  You can also see them on Instagram using #CandyCornWeekSU. I added SU to the end of the hashtag because I will be using Stampin' Up! products but you can use any products you enjoy creating with!

So start thinking about all things candy corn and mark your calendars to join me the rest of this week!
