The Global Design Challenge this week is to Case a Designer. When you CASE a card, you have several options for creating. You can use the same stamp set the designer used, the same card sketch, and/or the same colors. She used pastel colors on her card so that's what I'm going to do as well.
I began with a Soft Sea Foam card base in an A2 size. I also cut a smaller panel in Basic White card stock. I used the coordinating ink colors to stamp flowers and leaves from the Blooming Phrases stamp set . I cut several rectangles in Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, and Lemon Lolly card stock. I glued the rectangles together and embossed them with the Pressed Flowers embossing folder, then adhered it to the front of the card panel.
I stamped a sentiment from the Blooming Phrases stamp set in Secret Sea ink and the same ink colors as above for the flower and leaves. Then I fussy cut the sentiment out. I used dimensionals to adhere it to the front of the card panel and added a Lemon Lolly twine bow to finish the card.
Have you played along in a card challenge? It is a lot of fun and can stretch your creativity! I hope you will give it a try!
