Spooky Cute Halloween Card Using Party Celebrations

I created this card for a card challenge last week using the Party Celebrations stamp set.  I  began by cutting a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock at 8.5" x 5.5" and scoring it at 4.25".  I  also cut a Basic Black piece of card stock to create mat for my Basic White card panel.  The black mat is cut at 4" x 5.25" and the white panel is cut at 3.75" x 5".

I used the plaid stamp in the set to create a background by stamping it three times, once each in a different color of ink.  I used Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Gray inks.  I also stamped the stars from the set in Daffodil Delight as well.

I used Black Memento ink to stamp the bats, jack-o-lantern faces and spider, then ink blended around the images to create a halo around them.  I also used a ruler and thin black marker to create a piece of web for the spider to drop from.

I added two sentiments from the Fright Night bundle and a few purple Shimmer Foam Stars to finish off the card.

Do you enjoy making Halloween cards?  I do and look forward to sharing more cards and other items in the upcoming weeks.  Stampin' Up! has some spooky cute products this year!
