I chose the Spooky Sweet and Beautiful Gallery suites to complete my project.
I began with a Basic Gray A2 card base and stenciled spider webs in the top left and bottom right corners. I also stamped the bats and sparkle images from the Spooky Halloween stamp set in black Memento Ink in the other two corners.
For the frame portion of my card, I cut a frame from the Storybook Friends die set in two tone black card stock. I chose the sketched street scene from the Beautiful Gallery DSP and stamped a few bats from the Spooky Halloween stamp set around the trees and lamp post. I placed it under the die cut frame and adhered it to the front of the card panel. I placed thin foam strips behind the frame to create depth to the sketched image. I placed a jack-o-lantern (see below) in the bottom right of the frame using a dimensional.
I stamped two of the jack-o-lantern treat containers in black Memento Ink and colored them using the Going Gray Stampin' Blend markers. I fussy cut them out then traced around them with a black marker to disguise the place where the handles were attached before I cut them off.
For the lower portion of my card, I heat embossed "Happy Halloween" from the Spooky Halloween stamp set in white embossing powder and placed one of the jack-o-lanterns to the left of the image using a dimensional.
Lastly, I placed five sparkling stars from the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers along the top of the card to finish it off.
The Beautiful Gallery is one of the prettiest DSP packs I've seen. I love the vintage look this paper has! Below is the sheet from the pack that I used for my card.
I hope you will give the SU! July Challenge a try! It is lots of fun to use your supplies in a unique and challenging way!
