Back to Basics Saturdays Class 3

Welcome back to Back to the Basics Class 3.  We are once again working with the Florals in Bloom DSP.  I also added a few more products to this class, the Blooming Phrases stamp set and the 2025-2027 In Color Pearls.

I chose an A2 card base in Cloud Cover card stock and a piece of DSP in Secret Sea with a small Cloud Cover print. I decided to go with shades of purple for my image so I cut three different flowers to arrange as my focal image on my card front.  

I began assembling my card by tearing both the Secret Sea DSP and the card front lower panel.  By tearing the DSP, I exposed the white core to create a small border. Tearing the Cloud Cover card base adds texture to the card front.

I arranged the floral pieces in a way that resembled a bouquet and adhered them with Tombow glue. I also adhered a few smaller floral pieces on a small tag and stamped "hello" from the Blooming Phrases stamp set in Secret Sea ink. I added a  Night of Navy twine bow and two Cloud Cover pearls to finish off the card.
