Christmas Tags and More Meets Stay Warm Stamp Set #1

What do you get when you combine these products? You get a lot of great cards that are quick and easy! Over the next few days, I'm going to share some of the projects I've made using these two products.  I was amazed at how easily the cards and other items came together!

The colors in the Christmas Tags and More DSP are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Real Red, and Soft Sea Foam.  I also used the coordinating card stock colors for my cards.

One of the really great things about this DSP pack is that it comes with 6 x 6 DSP, tags and ephemera to use for tags, cards and scrapbook pages. It is acid and lignin free so it is safe for memory preserving.

My first card is on an A2 Real Red card base. I cut a small panel from the green plaid in the kit for the anchoring panel of my stamped images. Then I stamped the mittens from the set in Real Red ink for a tone-on-tone background.  I also stamped the mittens and hat on white card stock in the same ink.

I stamped the "warm wishes" from a retired set on a die cut circle and arranged the pieces in an eye pleasing way. There is also a stamp from the September Paper Pumpkin that would work well with this set.  It is the one that says, "Warm Wishes".  I also added some twine to connect the mittens like real mittens for children to keep from losing them.

The wreath and bow are ephemera from the paper pack.

...and just like that, my card was done.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for another quick and easy Christmas card!
