Using the Keeping Traditions Scrapbook Set to Create a Card

Have you seen the awesome Keeping Traditions stamp set in the scrapbooking section of the Annual Catalog? There's also a beautiful scrapbook page created using it, but today, I'm going to create a card using it.

I used the same layout as the scrapbook layout on page 44 of the September - January Mini Catalog.  I began by cutting a piece of Garden Green gingham DSP from the Christmas Tags and More DSP pack. I stamped Christmas words from the stamp set in Real Red ink randomly around the panel. Then I adhered it to an A2 Garden Green card base.

I used a label from the Foiled Frames and Labels Ephemera Pack and ephemera from the Christmas Tags and More DSP to create a focal point.  I stamped the "Make Merry' and the postage stamp image in Real Red ink, then fussy cut the postage stamp out. I adhered the focal image with dimensionals and added a few flat pearls to finish off the card.

Ephemera isn't just for scrapbooking!  Have you tried it on your cards?
