Cute Sweater and Accessories Stamps in the Stay Warm Stamp Set

The Stay Warm stamp set in the September Mini Catalog is such a great one for the cooler months! It has a sweater, hat, mittens, socks and a heart in a cute knit pattern! I have made three cards with the set to share with you today. I used the same sentiment on all three cards. It is one of this month's Paper Pumpkin sentiments from the Fall for Toile kit.

For my first card, I used an A2 Very Vanilla card base. I decided to create some cable knit sweaters and wanted the texture from the embossing folders to be my focus so I used the back side of the stamp for only the shape of it.  I stamped them in second generation Timid Tiger and third generation Pecan Pie inks. I fussy cut them out and ran them through the embossing folders. I used the Gathering Leaves and Forever Plaid embossing folders.  The sentiment is cut from a Stylish Shapes banner die.  My background is a piece of the Autumn Toile DSP and I stamped the hat and mitten images from the set in Early Espresso ink.

My second card uses an A2 Real Red card base. I used the Forever Plaid embossing folder on Garden Green card stock and the Christmas and More DSP and ephemera pack. I used the green/white star sheet of paper, glued the stocking shape on the paper, then stamped the sweater image in Memento Black ink. I also stamped the hat and mittens on the same DSP. 

My final card has a background of stamped watercolor leaves from the Gathering Moments stamp set. Then I added a text for more texture using the Elements of Text (retired) stamps. I used the Fall Fest (retired) pumpkin images and watercolor stamping (see previous post), then fussy cut them out.  I cut a circle die from the Circle of Seasons Paper Pumpkin die set, and stamped and fussy cut the mittens. The paper bow is from the Patterned Tag dies.

Do you have this stamp set?  It is a great one. There are no coordinating dies for it, but it only takes a few seconds to fussy cut the images.
