Autumn Toile Fall Birthday Card

Do you have friends with Autumn birthdays? Today, I made a card for one of mine using the Autumn Toile DSP.  This patterned paper by Stampin' Up! has beautiful fall colors and images.  

I began with a Very Vanilla card base. Then I cut one of the pieces of DSP at 4 x 5.25, one at 3 x 4 and 2 small strips at .25 x 4, making sure they all coordinated. I assembled them as shown below and adhered them in place.

I also cut a strip of Very Vanilla card stock using the large banner in the Stylish Shapes die set, and omitting the left side of the flagged edge.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" using the Charming Day stamp set and Cajun Craze ink.  I wrapped linen thread around the left edge of the banner and tied it in a bow to finish off the card. The sentiment is adhered with dimensionals. All products used are from Stampin' Up!
