I love a blue and orange color combo. Do you know why these two colors work so well together? They are complementary colors, which means they are opposite each other on the color wheel.
For this card, I began with an A2 Pumpkin Pie card base and used a piece of Weekend Adventures DSP for the background cut at a quarter inch smaller than the card base.My focal point is made up of the Patterned Tag dies and a watercolor background on the bottom layer of the tag portion. I used some extra watercolor pumpkin images I created for an earlier post and adhered them to the quilted tag cut in Copper Clay card stock (retired).
My sentiment is a past Paper Pumpkin stamp and the tag is from a retired die set. I used some Cajun Craze ribbon and a piece of Linen thread tied around it for my first embellishment and some new Earthy Matte dots that will be available in early November to finish it off.
