Today's containers involve die sets that have been created to make boxes! There are many of these die sets on the market as well as templates for handmade boxes. They are simple to assemble and can be used with card stock or DSP. If you don't have any of these dies, here is a link to a small box tutorial you can try.
I'm using the retired Little Treat Boxes to create my boxes today. I chose to use DSP for each one. This die works well with a 6 x 6 sheet of paper.
I began by running the DSP through the Stamp, Cut and Emboss machine with three different papers. I assembled the boxes with Tear and Tape. The size of these boxes will hold a small candy bar, earrings or a bracelet.
For the fall box, I used the Timeless Plaid DSP and the Circle of Season dies to create the acorns.
The Halloween box is made from the In Color DSP (Secret Sea), Spooky Halloween stamp set, and Cloud Cover ribbon. I colored the images with Stampin' Blend markers.
The Christmas box is made with the Christmas Tags and More DSP. The candy cane image was one of the ephemera pieces in the package. To change the shape, I just pinched the sides of the box outward so that it resembled tote.
All the sentiments are from past Paper Pumpkin kits.
