Yay! Fall will arrive at 2:19 today! This is when the Autumn Equinox arrives in North America! We can officially begin the fun activities that come with their amazing season...corn mazes, bonfires, pumpkin carving, and everything pumpkin spice!
I'm celebrating with another fall card (I've been in the mood for Fall for several weeks now!) :)
I decided to mute the bright yellow leaves in the kit by water coloring over them with Cajun Craze ink. I pressed the ink spot on a stamping block and used my water painter to mix some water with the ink, then I swiped it over the yellow leaves. I really like how they turned out.
I used the linen looking card base from the kit and stamped some of the sentiments randomly on the card using the Cajun Craze ink spot, using first and second generation stamping. I had some small spaces left open, so I stamped the small leaf images in those areas. Then I stamped the Wishing you... greeting from the kit on the circle that was included in the kit. I adhered the leaves to the card base with the toile background, then used dimensionals to adhere the sentiment onto the card.
I stamped the cute pumpkin pair from the kit on Basic White card stock, used my water painter to add a little Cajun Craze ink and adhered it to the lower right side of the sentiment.
I added a few Copper Clay embellishments randomly around the card and a small amount of splatter in Cajun Craze ink to finish it off.
