What do you get when you combine these products? You get a lot of great cards that are quick and easy! Over the next few days, I'm going to share some of the projects I've made using these two products. I was amazed at how easily the cards and other items came together!
The colors in the Christmas Tags and More DSP are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Real Red, and Soft Sea Foam. I also used the coordinating card stock colors for my cards.
One of the really great things about this DSP pack is that it comes with 6 x 6 DSP, tags and ephemera to use for tags, cards and scrapbook pages. It is acid and lignin free so it is safe for memory preserving.
My second card in the series is on an A2 Soft Sea Foam card stock. I stamped the mittens and socks on a Crumb Cake patterned sheet from the DSP pack. Then I stamped the sweater and hat on the beautiful plaid paper from the pack. All the images are from the Stay Warm stamp set.
I cut a panel of Basic White card stock at 3.75 x 5 and embossed it with the Forever Plaid embossing folder. I also cut a layer of Real Red card stock at 4 x 5.25 and layered both of these on the front of my card.
I stamped the "warm wishes" from a retired set in Real Red ink on a die cut rectangle and arranged the pieces in an eye pleasing way.
There is also a stamp from the September Paper Pumpkin that would work well with this set. It is the one that says, "Warm Wishes". I added some ephemera from the paper pack to finish off the card.
...and just like that, my card was done.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for another quick and easy Christmas card!
