Patriotic Card for Memorial Day

 Memorial Day...a day to remember those who have paid the highest price for our freedom.  

I created this card using the Elements of Text stamp set to add texture to the white flowers and background of the card.  Both were stamped in Real Red ink.

I used the large oval with Basic White card stock and the Forever Plaid embossing folder to create a textured background for my image.  I also cut the oval frame using Secret Sea card stock.

The flowers were die cut using Real Red, Basic White and Misty Moonlight card stocks.  Small pearl embellishments were added to the smallest flower centers.

I hope you are making the most of this holiday and will pause for a moment to pray for those who have lost loved ones by giving the ultimate sacrifice for us!
