North Pole Delivery DSP Card

I love the postal images in the North Pole Delivery DSP.  The postal theme is so on trend right now.  Not only are these images cute and colorful, there are some terrific neutral pages for background panels!

I began with a Cherry Cobbler A2 card base.  I cut a panel from the DSP a quarter inch smaller and adhered it to my panel.  I also cut a 5.5 x 1.5 inch strip to adhere to the left side of the card front.  I also pasted a scrap of the Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla checked DSP to the left of the strip.

I used a retired tag to stamp a sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink and snowflakes in Pool Party ink.  Both of these stamped were from a previous Paper Pumpkin set.  I also cut some trees stamped in Garden Green ink and fussy them out to adhere to the tag.  The cute house is a piece of ephemera from the North Pole Delivery DSP.  To finish off the card, I added some ribbon, twine and sparkle gems.

Brushed with Beauty Online Class

Final Two Cards from the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Today, I'm finishing up my cards from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.  I do have some scrap pieces left and may try to create a scrapbook page from them.  If I do, I'll be sure to post it for those of you who scrapbook!

The "Joy" card uses supplies from the kit as well as some Petal Pink and Cherry Cobbler inks and card stock,  The greenery for the flower is Garden Green card stock.

The tree card also uses supplies from their kit and Petal Pink ink with some sparkle gems added from my stash.

My Favorite Alternative from the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit

Today's card is my favorite alternative with the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit! I added lots of Petal Pink touches to the card to create a soft look.  I began by turning the green tree base card from the kit from portrait to a landscape position.  With so much of the base covered by the white panel, it doesn't look like a tree background any more.

I cut two tags from the Patterned Tag dies, one in Pecan Pie and one from a coordinating envelope from the kit.  I stamped "Joy" in Petal Pink ink, the "to the world" in Pecan pie ink over the "Joy" sentiment.  I also used Garden Green ink to stamp Merry Christmas in second generation ink. I stamped the sparkle image from the kit in Petal Pink ink as well and tore a scrap of Petal Pink card stock to place on the left side of the front panel before adhering it to the card base. 

I used the Abundant Joy add on dies to cut the flowers and bow in Petal Pink card stock and the leaves in Garden Green card stock.  I also trimmed a few of the flocked greenery pieces to add to the greenery at the corners of my tags. The bow was also cut with the Patterned Tag die set. 

To finish off the card, I added some sparkle gems from the Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink gem pack.

Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternative Deck the Halls

Today, I used the coordinating envelope to create a card from the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit. I used a Cherry Cobbler A2 Card base and cut the envelope apart to adhere it to the card front.  I adhered the ornament as instructed in the directions from the kit and stamped the sentiment on one of the sentiment pieces in the kit.  To finish off the card, I added a few red sequins that were also in the kit.

This was a simple alternative card created from the kit. If you wanted to step it up, you could have stamped a background on the Basic Beige panel.  You also could have made the ornament and darker brown piece a flap to open the card with.

Adding Petal Pink to a Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Here's an alternative card from the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit and the Abundant Joy add on dies.  I also added a touch of Petal Pink to the card for an extra pop of color.  

I began by using a blending brush and adding some Petal Pink ink to the Joy panel.  Once that was done, I adhered the J O Y letters on the panel and added the pink flower to the O.  I also stamped "to the world" on the panel using Cherry Cobbler ink and used dimensionals to pop it up on the beige panel from the kit, then onto the green card base included in the kit. 

I cut two leaves from the add on dies in Garden Green card stock and adhered them behind the Joy panel. To finish off the card I added some sequins from the kit.
